Desert Dusk color

Description

Desert Dusk color is a Pano shot in the late afternoon with the end of the day’s light showing on the little hillocks. The lighting was just beautiful as it was dwindling. I was excited to get this scene and didn’t notice at the time that it included the “Finger Rock” as well as the “Sleeping Princess”. The original was shot about 3 months prior but it had a blue sky with white clouds and after looking at it when I got home I didn’t think it was fitting. So I waited until they were burning the ag fields across the river and the smoky skies lent itself more to what I was looking for. It makes for an almost monochromatic scene in the wonderful colors of the desert.
