Pareidolia-Faces

Description

This picture is one of those captures that you didn’t really know that you had caught. I was shooting a tiny waterfall with this big rock as a background. I have been teaching my niece photography and was showing her how I go through my photos from that  day’s session, culling and picking which ones to keep. I looked at this one and told her it didn’t make a picture. She said “What about that face?” I pointed to a face and said “This one?” and she said “No” pointing to another one and then we started picking them out all over the picture.  I edited out the waterfall because it had little to offer the picture and kept the rock calling it Pareidolia-Faces. Sometimes you have to hold onto a picture for a while because what you don’t see in it today may be something you missed.
